I Murdered The Drummer

By horatiuromantic on July 10, 2022 2:54 pm

A hardcore beat fit for 4-10 years.

Used my fingers to do the drumming, then some Gauss layering vocals, then some crazy moog synth soloing then the evil bass comes around as the same moog synth but more bass-ish. Somehow, I ripped my pants while making this track.

BEWARE it is LOUD.

RIP pants. But also, that is some nice shout-like distorted vocals?!

With this song you don't need drugs to get into a fine musical mood. Vielen Dank for this inspiring contribution

you explored hardcore psychedelic jazz-rock territory. this must have been the effect of the jazz festival on your mind. it is wild and loud. well done.

Ouch... poor drummer. Useless anyways, always at the end of the stage hidden behind his drums and cymbals. It is easier with pads or loops.

I tend to think you're on the right track when you tear/rip/break something in the midst of the music making process.

Woah far out psychedelic adventures!  Excellent funky drums and really enjoyed when the deeper Moog came in.  The synth solo even better!  Well done!

Always good when pants get ripped in the making of a track I say. This was fun trip. The title pulled me in. As a drummer, I'm keen to know about the murdering of my brethren. The drummer on here seems to be doing fine. Fingers or not. Delicious madness. Oooh, love when it all comes together around 2:30, that bass!

Thanks! RIP indeed. I'm still wearing them tho. Vocals are only in the background drone/choir thing. The loud stuff is synth.

Nonono, I love the drummer! I'm actually sad they are dead. Now hiring!

Thanks! Glad you liked that DROP, it's my fav part next to the crazy "drum" solo

Sweet! Thanks for the appreciation! Yea the finger drumming is kinda convincing upon listening again, altho while I was layering the track I didn't think much of it. Got a lot to learn but basically one lesson is that things have a way to come together in the end...
