Hold my hand (and push me off a ledge, but hold it tight so you can save me)

Here's my new song that I'm still kinda working on that I composed this week (or last, but "finished" as much as a song is ever finished, this week). It's an intense, heartfelt and absurd ballad with some wacky deep lyrics that truly transcended the dream world to come through me into this one. I played it live for Copenhagen Listening Room last Sunday, and that's the version you can hear on weeklybeats.

I played it again this past Wednesday at Blågårds Apotek where I had a 30-minute solo set, and that's where Dave took a video of me, if you wanna check out the second version (the piano is far more wack but the song features more profanity and a hidden bridge that I skipped in the first one).

Hyped to see the second version in a second. This is amazing though. The piano is spectacular, and excuse my stereotypical white American ass, but you sound like Ville Valo channeling Lou Reed. And it is amazing.

Loved it. Soulful, beautiful and the recording just makes it better… puts me in the room

Very impressive solo performance. I feel remembered of the early Tom Waits.

Epic solo 2m in. Very soulful. Still trying to figure out the spiders daughter lyric.

I like how the chorus wanders rhythmically. Amplifies the feels but a few times I think it wandered a bit too much and distracted me since I had the steady melody going in my head

killer performance!

My first thought was Tom Waits before I even looked at your tags. Very good match for the style. "Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis" is what came to my mind.

It was fun hearing how the audience reacted, sang along, and finally cheered!

Instant classic Horatiu work of art. Feels like it belongs in a museum.
