Though lost, not forgotten

All of this production after nearly a decade of none has drummed up a lot of old - but mostly good - memories.  It's great to revisit them regardless and think about how much has changed.  It's also great to live in an age where we can look in on the ones that are still around and see what they have been up to if they are inclined to share.  I've done a lot of cinematic work but this may be my favorite ever.  Yes I borrowed the drum intro from Fanfare for the Common Man - one of my very favorites.

Everything was done on M8 - Cello, Violin, Horns, winds, were sample chains along with drums, stacked some hypersynth and a few FM instruments from the M8 to add some texture.  I did a quick master on the desktop and trimmed the ending down but side by side comparison told me it didn't really need it.

Whoa! Beautiful track. I love the orchestration. Nice vibes, hopeful, serene, epic.

Thanks again to have shared with me last week track. It was fun to do.

Well played!

This is so lush. Just a huge build, and so well executed.

You're just full of surprises! smile

Love how full and lush this is - hugely cinematic. And on the M8! Love hearing how you take that little box in different directions...amazing and inspiring.
