Stand Back from the Platform Edge

The kiddo had a great idea so we went with it this week.  Sorry if I'm not responsive we're doing some huge campaigns at work and I'm training new folks so I've been working a ton.  I appreciate everyone stopping by to listen.

Week 10 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Recorded my sons idea through my phone and brought that in to the M8, grabbed the station audio RF from an open source library - otherwise mixed, sequenced and arranged completely in M8 - light master with eq/compression in Reaper, but that was just to get the levels right.

Let's GOOOOO!

Love the "80's" synth aesthetics and great use of the kid. smile

This is amazing. Not just your son's idea, but how you made it a fully realised bop. Super catchy, great chord progression, and hey - arps!! This sounds amazing, and I'm looking forward to future collaborations between you two.

Fantastic! Family music making at its finest, great idea, great execution.

Oh this makes me happy. Great synth backing track, and you incorporated your son’s melody in perfectly. Including the clip at the beginning where you were talking together about it was the cherry on top. Huge smile on my face.

heart  I spend way to much time trying to make instruments that sound like 80s TV shows.

Thank you so much!  He was stoked to be a part of it, and we'll definitely be doing some more for WB.  One cool thing about having a 5 year old around is you never have to worry about running out of creative ideas.

The set up audio intro is my favorite part - thanks so much for listening, we'll be doing more of these.  I was smiling the whole time we were putting this together - the avalanche of ideas he's had since then has been great.  Mostly Pikmin related, but will keep an ear out for safer IP's to use as inspiration. xD
