Body Chaos

By Homeostatic on January 5, 2026 12:01 am

Well everything exploding at the last second sums up my week pretty well. Reaper and Gimp both crashed in the last 15 min before the deadline XD

I really wanted to be a bit more onto it this week but my brain was just not keen to cooperate.

Yesterday I got frustrated because it wasn't coming together how I imagined and I spent several hours adding chaotic drums from the modular. I'm not sure It actually imporved the overall sound but I had fun making it.

But at then end of the day I got something made, and I am at least theoretically better than I was last week.

Oh man that sounds frustrating! Glad you got something out though smile

The art work is great!

Start of the track sounds very chaotic indeed, it "focus" more at the 1 min mark, interesting track!

I am really pleased with the artwork. I have recurring issues making tracks too chaotic, restraint is tricky. Last week was just not a week where I felt up to improving that so I just let it be chaotic.

Bubbly, a little goofy, and very groovy. I love the filtered percussion & stuttered vocal sample over the top of that cool bass patch.

That percussion grabbed me in the fist few seconds. Love the vocal samples, and that kick coming in later was a good build. Nice job getting something done in spite of challenges! I dig it 😁

good forward motion all the time...that deep bass in the latter half is huge smile

I was rather digging that sound that the beginning, and then it turns more vocal around the 40s mark, then drops in pitch? Art of Noise and Severed Heads vibes to me, nice

Thank you! I really like designing interesting sounds but I'm still trying to figure out how to arrange them cohesively

The percussion happened because I got frustrated and just chuckled a bunch of random samples through a delay. Sometimes just turning everything up makes me feel better about things
