hapless slumber

main melodies written using the fugue app.  guitars recorded using guitar rig, affected by diffuse and magnetic max4live patches.  beat provided by my volca sample [which i'm really enjoying jamming on], using a presequenced beat then improvise live variations for the extended sequences.  the bass line almost verges on the dorian just to give it a slightly disconnected feel.

want to focus next time on paring down my guitar lines - everything feels very quaver driven and a bit too full on.  although minimalist in nature, i think i need to be careful not to let these lines take up too much space in the track.

realised slightly too late one of the melodies is awful reminiscent of one of the songs from the twin peaks soundtrack.  but the tracks are sufficiently different for me not to get too caught up in it.

Sweet, like ambient baroque. What is this fugue app?
