spent a bit of time on this track today.  more than i usually do.  ended up opting for a rather crunchy, overdriven mix of the track rather than my usual unobtrusive mastering.  i think it definitely helped give the track some life.  was concerned about the lack of heft in the drum track but i'm reconciled to it now.  the main line was originally written on piano but i gave over and used ableton's operator in the end.  was refreshing to combine piano playing and my push for once; usually it seems to be all or nothing when using the push.

and as for my resolve last week to bring in some acoustic guitars; sorry!
