god's good ocean out of sight

not quite happy with the mix - feels muddy to me. wanted the vocals be buried but clear and not sure I quite hit that mark.  never mind.

happier with the chord progression than previous weeks though so that makes up for it!

Close your eyes, say goodnight, guess I’ve always been here
Close your eyes, say goodnight, you say I’ve always been here
As the shadows start to give, your tired reflection steals away

Call it quits or call it nothing at all
As you stumble through the day
Your photo kiosk memory recalls
The faded photo by the door

Soundless laughs break the silence on the line
Your voice echoes out of sight
Tracing words through the kaleidoscope of night
Pressure of memory still remains

Callous hands stop the breaking of the waves
Taste of salt rich on my tongue.
Softer now the undertow at bay
God’s good ocean out of sight

love how the synth plays with the super lofi everything else so much, so starflyer

Everything comes together hear beautifully. Love the vocal quality! Really amazing track heart

hello shoegaze smile this has a great composition (and I really liked the layering you had going on throughout)

Such nice vocal harmonies. This track reminds me of hanging out in my mates garage when I was a teenager, something really familar and comorting about it.

I’m liking this mix quite a bit. Liking the clarity of the synths and drums, but those vocals are a little obscured. Wonderful feeling of lofi mystery. Great switches back and forth between low and high energy. I want to listen to this track while I sit at the window and watch it rain. Shoegaze gold. Favorited.

Beautiful vibes coming through very strong on this track, a very strongly written song.
The melody fits into this chord progression perfectly, and it's so wonderfully catchy.
