forever seems like a long time

for the next few weeks I'm really going to try to work as dawless as possible.
this week - all the instruments were tracked into koala with my phone. all guitars done with the phone perched on my knee. this accounts for the wonky mixing - it was all done in koala.
vocals annoyingly were tracked into ableton as I couldn't find an xlr to jack. I had planned on tracking them into my sp404. I did take them straight out of ableton without any editing.
vocals are pretty heavily processed with the 404.
realised I screwed up some of the loop points on the 404 when resampling so ended up having to put some reverb and delay on the 'verse' section in ableton.
all week tried to go for a panda bear circa person pitch kind of vibe with the wall of noise falsetto vocal beach boys-esque thing going on. anyways, this is my take on it. think I'll stay in this lane for a few weeks and see where it goes!
going to spend more time with the 404 over the week as I've been meaning to properly learn it for so long!
