Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

this song is named after my friend Jake, a budding m8 user. We were hanging out and talking about m8 when I started this track so it is named after him. continuing with my sort of minimalist writing/maximalist effects approach as of late.

I enjoy those polyrhythms, makes the motion of the track multidimensional. I also enjoy the glitchy lead that manages to be really bright, but not overly abrasive. Nice sound design here!
