Happy new year! Here's to the next few weeks where everyone accidentally types 2025 more than they'd like to admit.

This is likely going to be another year of fun eurorack adventures. Last year I sold most of my music gear to fund airbrush supplies. Still plenty of eurorack. And the TR06/TB03 ofc.

Now, about this week's track. This was a snippet from eurorack experimentations this week. Most of the heavy lifting is using the Shakmat Battering ram split between two channels - clean and through a bunch of processing (pico DSP [delay], rings, dark matter, electus versio, legio).

Manis Iteritas does pop up too for weirdness (stabs, pulses and basslines) here and there but most of my focus has been on the Shakmat Battering Ram. It's a great module. big_smile

amazing what you can get with just a kick + processing, beautiful and feels huge!

love how all the background elements kept on morphing in and out!

I know right? I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It's one of my favourite ways of making music, sometimes the smallest tweak at the start of the FX chain has lasting results.

They way that crunch builds is so good and that flare/distortion or whatever it is that starts around 4:50 - beautiful

This feels like something is hidden behind the pitch black storm clouds rolling over the horizon at breakneck speed with red lightning arcing out like fingers to etch arcane symbols into the sky.

I love this dystopiascape!

yeah, that's the Bastl dark matter really pushing the signal to it's limit. I just realised the ikarie filter is involved and it's also got a 6x signal boost so that's probably giving it some of it's push too.
