I wanted to do something completely different for my last weeklybeats - so I pulled out the syntakt.

After a year of patching, buying, researching, selling and rebuying eurorack gear, the syntakt was immediate and easy to use. I really enjoyed experimenting with it and felt this was the nicest of the experimentations.

It's been a fun year however I'm glad it's done. It's a nice achievement.

If/when I do weekly beats again, I think I'll make sure I have my equipment for the year setup, and ready to go. I don't really feel like doing a lot of trial and error/relearning new gear throughout the year. It made some weeks incredibly taxing.
