2022 - week 18

Started this a few weeks ago. Could not figure out how to finish it.

Turns out this was one of those "spend hours experimenting and then things will work".

The more I make, the more I realise the idea of "you need a process or a template or a schedule" isn't something that works for me. The only thing that does work is "spend as much time as possible making music and occasionally cool stuff happens".

tech stuff: made in Ableton with plenty of LFOs, FX chains and, surprisingly, MIDI programming. I'm usually more of a "samples in arrange view" type of person.

The bass and percussion channels are from Konkrete Breaks pack with plenty of FX chains, choke channels, and general experimentation.

The melody channels are using Ableton's wavetable synth which was a lot of fun to program and screw around with. Would this be something anyone would be interested in me sharing? I'd be keen to see what other people do with the synth.

Apart from a third party reverb, this whole project was Ableton stuff. It's good to go back to the basics.
