during week 2 i ended up working on multiple tracks unable to decide which one was going to be "it". i ended up completing two of them in the end. i chose this one. i started this awhile ago as an experiment to see if i still had the patience to make "fUcKeD uP bEAtZ" on a tracker. i don't really lol but this time i was on a roll and it was fun. i wanted to make something that was chaotic and complex. and then it's balanced by very pretty, simple harmony. and yeah it's in 4/4 wink
i grew up on "idm" and used to spend a lot of time making complex tracker stuff in my teens. i still use a tracker today but don't do this particular style very often anymore, so this was a kind of special achievement. and i was inspired to finish this track and share it here because i am so impressed with some of the stuff people at weeklybeats.com are making on trackers!

MY first encounter with 'fUcKeD uP bEAtZ on a tracker'. For some reason I am really digging it, but if you asked me exactly which part I wouldn't be able to say for sure. I need more exposure into the genre I guess big_smile Amazing track smile

i really like from 2:00-2:40 until the end, very confident and it all just works together so perfectly. congrats on the track, great stuff!

Now that's my kinda beat!

very cool track I like this a lot. frenetic but nice vibe

Yeah!!!  Trackers are where it’s at—f uP thOSe bEAtZ!

this is rad! yeah I wish I had the time and patience to work on something like this. I love the feel, like the wheels are gonna fall off at any point.

The uhh, rate of change of the detuning on that one synth is wink perfect
Seconding codydjango's comment about wheels. The first image that came to mind was like a rickshaw chase scene.

Thank you! That part is made from a long sample of feedback, broken up into rhythmic chunks, in 3 layers - it's connected to the buzzy sound in the low mids. Originally the track had no background chords so it was just this thing going nuts by itself lol
