What makes you happy?

By hent03 on April 24, 2022 7:04 am

I am sorry I haven't been able to listen to and comment on everyone's tracks. I keep meaning to and then the week is somehow gone. I have reasons but none of them are particularly good. The past few weeks have been a bit heavy. I've been good, but I've also been a bit lost. I feel like creatively I'm in a good space and the novels I'm working on are coming together, and yet it's still hard for me to make time for music. With that in mind, here is another acoustic track that includes the jingle of my cat's collar. She put me off my rhythm for a second but it's whatever.

beautifully mellow - hope you recover what you feel you might have lost - cheers

I'm happy you still make a song every week smile I'm not good commenting on many weeks, it's okay having a break I think, and to only make the song. So nice humming melody, and hello to your cat!

This kind of music makes me happy. Keep on humming.

Fun tune! Waiting for the cat... there she is!!! big_smile

No worries on commenting; just keep those tracks coming smile Good to know you're in a great creative space!!

That is beautifully played! I like how you approach the guitar playing from a real rhytmic approach, adding a tasty lines here and there. And the fact that it's record on a phone, and the distant hum makes it more intimate. Nice track and nice collaboration with your cat!

This song makes me happy.

I hear ya on the commenting and listening to tracks.  I'm catching up right now as I type.  I had a heap of extra work doing sound design for a US tv series which I just finished.  Yay!  Unless I'm needed later which is of course fine but it's nice to free up a heap of spare time again.  No complaints tho.

Cool you're smashing out these acoustic hummers on the regular!  Got your bro coming around for tea tonight actually.  Hopefully we'll get to catch up soon in the not too distant future!
