The Vivid Movements of Life (命の躍動)

By hent03 on March 5, 2022 4:54 am

I didn't have much time to work on music this week. We went to the countryside and I took my op-z. The first parts of this tune thus developed on the train out of the city, while the tinkering/sound shaping happened later that night, in an old house that was suddenly less one family member (though we all agreed that 95 is a good number, and worth being very proud of.)

My wife came up with the title when I asked her to listen to the track. She asked, "What's it called?" and I said, "What do you think I should call it?" I have translated her Japanese title as "The Vivid Movements of Life" and I think perhaps she should name all of my tracks now.

That had a really nice vibe to it.  Sounds like your wife really is good at coming up with titles!

The opening is beautiful. Only I am just as impressed with the breathy synth that takes over half way through. The title that came out simply describes this perfectly. Is your wife also a writer?

This is a different type of tracks than the usual, more dynamic. It is light and feel very nice. I like the title a lot. The arpeggios are really nice, and go well with the simple beat. I hope you enjoyed the countryside!

So sorry for your loss u.u
Great song tho

This was super calming to listen to thank you. Also a very apt named track. Nice work!

beautiful and lovely. this is something for the sunny side of life. well done. The OP-Z seems to be a nice toy for travelling.

flows shimmering with curiosity like the view from that train heart
agreed: your wife has an enlightened touch with finding just the right words for this smile

nice tune. thx for sharing the backstory. makes me think about appreciating moments and memories. I like the use of the raspy synth voice.

this sounds lovely. thanks for sharing

This 2nd part slow melody is beautiful, simple and still brings so complicated feeling. It's a lovely song and name.

The OP stuff is perfect for travel and self contained creating.  Really nice feel to it.  She did a nice job on the title too.
I've been learning Japanese again lately.  Much more so than last time so I'm even trying Hiragana but I look at the characters in your title and my brain says no.  Haha.

love the title - enjoyed the opz sounds

lovely tribute to 95 years!

RIP to the family member.

Wow, looks like you're not the only writer in your family!  I can just see the montage of life moments to this track. heart
