Into the Cold

By hent03 on July 17, 2022 1:54 am

Just an impromptu OP-Z jam that largely came to life in the evenings when I was braindead from work, tired of both English and Japanese, and looking for an escape into another language entirely.

Ah yes, I like that arpeggio with legato that you mentioned. It has a very smooth layer, like a rubbery organ. It even sometimes sound like vowels from an alien throat.

I hope work will get a bit easier and that you can recharge!

Very nice, I love that warm fuzzy bass. Such a cool feel to this one.

sorry to hear about your fatigue. I like how you dive into nice melodys and a lovely mood to escape from work.

It's cool how music seems to work a different part of the brain and can bring relaxation when you're fatigued.  This has a pleasant and kind of playful vibe to it.  It was fun to listen to!

Nice jam!

Well I'm glad you've got some musical solitude to go to.  There's a subtle playful element to this which I quite enjoy.  It reminds me of Lali Puna from way back.  Worth a listen if you haven't heard them.  I haven't actually heard them for years so I might even have to have a listen myself!

This is good music to calm the nerves.  Sitting here with my coffee and enjoying those pleasant synth tones, especially the main melody.

that first synth got a BOC vibe that drew me in right away, and then when it all breaks down to sparse utterances slowly meandering back into full-beat-bloom(my word for it anyways big_smile), holds a perfect presence: like swaying in place, while moving forward, all at the same time heart
