"His hangover felt like justice."

By hent03 on January 8, 2022 7:12 am

I dusted off the Synthstrom Deluge and went exploring. Nothing crazy. Just some simple, ambient sounds to relax with.

(The title is from the book, "She Who Became the Sun." It's something of a throwaway line, but so beautifully placed in the context of its little paragraph. I didn't want to forget it.)

It feels like christmas today, seeing all the crew again and all these tracks. 245+, it will take some time to unpack the presents.
Nice soothing track. I like the wavy effect applied on the synth crescendos. It is like watching the slow waves of the ocean dying on the beach in the early morning. I like the variation at 2:20.

I could loop that for a meditation track! smile Great to get another year of your tracks!

Super smooth synths. Would you recommend "She Who Became the Sun." ?

Ayyy great to see you back again! This is so chill. I love the sound, it's like watching a video of an old holiday on VHS. Really cool. Good luck this year!

Like warm synth waves lapping at the shore of an electric lake. Happy new year!

So smooth. Nice work, man!!

Hmmmmm. I am floating away.

I really like the "detuned" synths. Slow attack, nice vibes. Welcome back!

Relaxing, warm, and kind of nostalgic sounding.  Great title, too.

alien planet beachlife. nice swells and washes

Pad heaven

Lovley warble to the tone and what sounds like a touch of bit reduction. Very nice.

Man, I'm looking forward to another year of your atmospheric tracks. And knowing you're based in Tokyo makes me enjoy them more somehow smile I love this track...

Such a relaxing tune, a hangover cure in itself

Perfect track for hangovers!

It feels looking an old photo of a familiar place. It can not move but you see the movement still. A story only you can see. Glad you are here and make more beautiful songs.

Super relaxing track that can def be used in my "i gots a migraine_playlist" smile  Those detuned pads are super soothing.  Closed my eyes and drifted away.  Great to see you back!

this soundscape is so perfect for watching vultures who like to float on air-streams like kites

Meditative is definitely a theme, so thanks. smile

I enjoyed it a lot. Surprisingly, my favorite parts of the novel are the themes of gender, identity, and purpose that the two main characters struggle with (one a female pretending to be a male, the other a eunuch). Unfortunately, it's part of a trilogy, so it lacks a comprehensive ending.

Aural hangover cures... Might be a market for that...
