One of my favorite moments when writing a story is when it gets to the point where I don't care what people might think of it because it simply expresses my idea the way I want it to be expressed. I rarely write to appease an audience, but still, it's hard not to think about your readers; they're always there in the back of your mind, you know? Hm. I guess this idea is a little harder to explain than I thought. Anyway, there's a little of that in the track this week. I don't know if it's objectively good or bad, or if the flow will feel okay to other listeners, but I had a blast making it and nothing else really feels like it matters. Have a good week. smile

Good track. I like the fuzzy bass in the background, the two bell melodies and the layering. I like also how the hihats around 2:20 change the dynamic ever so subtly before disappearing around 2:30. Nice one.

Nice flow, a nice collection of sounds, textures, beats. The fuzzy bass contrasts well with the other, more lush sounding sounds.

Nice mix of instruments. You're bringing together the drums, melodies, and flow to your song each week. I like the "flubber" sound that fills of tonal space.

I find myself today wondering why I like a track and yet am still wondering what others think about it. It's a nice affirmation that I'm doing something others like, but it's good when we can do what we like and not allow the opinion of others to impact us.

Beautiful and dreamy! I like this a lot!

Any improvement in drums is thanks to your comments each week. Made me think about them more.

This week was very much about trying new sounds and getting them to work together. Happy it worked!

Thanks! There's definitely a balance to be held sometimes between the art and the artist, right? Too far in one direction and you become derivative, too far in the other and you might lose yourself in the abyss haha

Thanks so much! Will try to spend some time this week exploring your tracks, too. smile

I virtually always write for myself and if others like it, great!
Unless it's film work or some other paid job.

Never worry about what others will think because the general public don't have a clue!  haha.
