This track was originally supposed to be an experiment with making an ambient piece on the op-z. I've been listening to a lot of ambient stuff while I work, and because I'm getting more comfortable with the op-z interface and transforming sounds to fit my tracks, I initially envisioned lots of randomization layered over long droning notes. And then I started playing with the drums and that whole idea fell to pieces haha. Maybe next week.

This settles it...i need to get myself a op-z

Dry pretty and delicate. The first part before the drum kicks in especially has a nostalgic feel, as if remembering childhood memories.

I bet you can make it more ambient if you replace all the drums with modulated noise.

This feels different from your other tracks. The bells ringing out and the twinkle sit nicely beside each other too. You blend elements from the previous section int other next one, creating a smooth transition. Your ending also leads to a conclusion nicely, slowly dropping instruments out to the core of what needs to be heard. Nice work!

I have a feeling you could do some really cool stuff with it if you ever did.

I'm actually thinking about going back to this same track some time and doing that now. Cool idea.

Thanks so much! I think there's a mixture of growing confidence and happy accidents taking place in here.

Love this, reminds me of minecraft a bit. The instrumentation is soo peaceful.

I agree, I think you're improving a ton. This piece is really well put together.

Those tones are so gentle, I love it.

I reckon some beat manipulation would really bring this track to life.

I still feel the ambient vibes. The drums were totally necessary.
