I often find myself coming up with beats for the OP-Z that start and end their lives as little 10/30 second ideas; I think because of the way it works, the OP-Z lends itself towards this kind of creation. This week, like last week, I wanted to push myself to come up with a track that has a start, middle and end. I'm not entirely happy with how the middle section of the track sounds, but there's more variation in here than my usual OP-Z experiments, so I'm going to call it a small victory.

Small victories are great!  Have you heard the band Mum?  This reminds me a little of them.  Check out their earlier albums as you may really enjoy them.
Have you messed with the video side of the OP-Z?

Sweet little sine bells! It's fun to make different sections, I think you got some cool variations out of this one.

Well done, the ending was a nice way to close out the piece. Really like this.

I have heard Mum! I believe they were one of Cindy's many recommendations. smile As for the video side of things, I haven't messed with it a lot. Just enough to be like "Oh, this is pretty cool." Seems like there's a lot there to uncover, though.

Thank you! I'm hoping to go a little deeper and wilder with the op-z over the course of the year.

Thanks! I still have some trouble with closing out op-z pieces after I've built them out, so it's a little goal of mine to have at least one track conclude in a way that feels natural haha.
