Midsummer Speedrun Challenge

By halfbyte on June 21, 2024 4:40 pm

This is a hot, overcompressed, drowned in reverb and delay, quickly thrown together mess.

It's a speedrun and I swear one of these weeks I will be able to spend more time on my weekly beats again, but this week wasn't one of them. Nevertheless, a submission is a submission.

Pretty good for speedtrash, I like it. Nothing wrong with some acid. Those guitar-like synth stabs add some mystery.

Thanks! I'm oddly happy with the result, to be honest. Most of the last few beats were all done under enormous time pressure which hopefully changes over the coming weeks. Life has been extremely hectic and taxing. I kinda think that this song is a good representation of that.
