Glow Back

Hm, interesting one. There are some weird (non-) harmonies in this one, but I think it all somehow works. It's sort of a throwback to my breakbeat past, with a more modern sound aesthetics, I guess.

Not entirely happy with the outcome, but it will need to suffice. Still not finding quite enough time to bring tracks to the quality I'd like.

this is great. Bring on the rave brother

What did you use to make the rave chord stab?

If you mean the Piano-ish thing - Sorry to say but it is just a sample. Easiest place to sample would probably be "DJ's take Control" by SL2, which is one of my all time favourite rave tunes.

Nothing to be sorry about, sampling is good.
But, I mean, you call that a piano? Haha. I never thought of them as pianos, I just call them "rave stabs".

I'm just interested in generating this type of sound, but dunno where to start (besides mashing chord mode on my alpha juno).

I love that SL2 tune btw

I sort of think the underlying tone is actually a piano, at least that's what my ear tells me, but I could be totally wrong here. Of course by nature of the chords and the way it's played, it's pretty much a stab, I'll agree.
