Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I have no idea what this is. It all started with the lush synth preset (It's Predator 2) and suddenly I am in the middle of Dub, Ambient, Meditation Music, yeah, no idea. I like the end result mostly for it's quirky nature and for a Week 1 beat it's probably not bad.
Most of the used samples stem from my old 8 bit sample collection from my Protracker period.

Yeah, well, I tagged it Dub because it definitely has some Dub influences, but usually my Dub stuff is a bit more true to the form. There will be more Dub in my Weeklybeats for sure
In my own opinion the bass sound is one of the weak spots, so good to hear you liked it
Nah can't go wrong with squelchy bass...well, maybe you can. But this is great.
I like this one! Great Eno-like pads give a nice contrast to the beats... excellent IDM.
