This song is very basic, but my goal here was just to dust off the equipment and figure out how to do everything again. The big difference from the last WeeklyBeats is that I've spent the past 14 months learning guitar and music theory, so I have at least a little bit of an idea about how to make songs that "work". So for this song, I had to figure out how to use Reaper again and how to make synth patches with Primer (though ultimately I just used some included patches). I used the guitar to figure out a chorus that I liked and used that to come up with the name of the song. I even pulled out the M8 and played with sound design on that for a while, even though I didn't end up using the M8 for the final track.
Overall, it lacks a lot, but at least that gives me plenty of room to get better!
