This started as a game intro song that was so fully formed in my head that I was worried I was copying someone else's song. But then I had lots of problems trying to translate that into a song. The bass rhythm sounds much better in my heard, but sounds a little "stiff" in my final track. I tried using a MIDI keyboard against a drum track to figure out the timing, but I had so much lag that this approach was impossible. I need to get that figured out so I'm able to use this technique in the future.

I also spent a bunch of time trying to come up with different instruments and planned to finish everything up on Sunday, but when Sunday hit, I realized we have a bunch of family stuff planned, so I had to quickly throw some speed trash together just to get something out for the week. Hopefully next week is better...
