Forest Adventure

This is a tune based on a 2 bar loop I made while going through the Audible Genius Building Blocks music theory and creation course. This is the first time I've tried to make a fully complete track with a beginning, middle and end, so it's not all that amazing, but I'm happy that I pushed myself to do more than I ever have in the past.
When playing it just as a short loop, it sounded like a video game tune used for a happy forest adventure. I don't think my second verse sounds quite as much like "happy forest adventuring", but I still wanted to practice making some kind of variation. Then I decided it needed a quick video just to illustrate the forest adventure, so I threw something together in Unity really quick. The video is also not perfect and once I added the music into it, I discovered that it sounded worse on my PC headphones. I'm guessing this is what people mean when they talk about doing the mixing. After I realized this, I thought I should have spent more time on the music instead of working on a video. But there's always next week...
Made on an #M8Tracker. Drums are samples, everything else is synths from the various M8 engines.
