Once again this week, I had lots of great ideas. I came up with some good melody, baseline and sound effect ideas while sleeping, driving and showering. I even have voice recordings of several of these ideas. But I totally ran out of time to actually implement them.
The good news (for me anyway) is that I was able to get this quick skeleton of a song put together pretty quickly based on my ideas, so I am getting faster at that. The terrible news for you listeners is that is it just a skeleton and obviously doesn't even really work. The instruments were just quick placeholders until I had time to go back and replace them. This has none of the effects that I wanted. The melody and baseline don't really fit together right and when I just listened before submission, I'm really disappointed at how terrible it sounds.
I did manage to spend about 6 hours this week gathering and scanning tax documents though, so there's that...
