Bells of Belleville

By Gunda on March 6, 2022 11:58 pm

Tried to go for a carefree little tune this week to counterbalance the effect that doomscrolling through currents events are having on us all I'm sure. It really got the best of me last week and is helping no one. So today was supposed to be a bit festive and 80's inspired but not really sure where I ended up.

The sidechain seems to have offset the background chords in the mp3 wayyy to much. Mixing at the very last minute is not the best idea it turns out :-)

its so comforting to listen to, like an audio blanket, lovely

It definitely brings a nice vibe to the room.

Thank you guys!

I eventually found a work around for the delay but still haven't identified the underlying cause. I may simply have routed too many sidechains to each other, causing havoc in the sound signal, as the problem went away when I ungrouped two tracks and removed then reapplied sidechain on their sepearate channels.
