Your take on the "trap" sound is really personal and interesting, as I've mentioned on previous tracks. I wish trap music would be always as half as interesting as this

I think some trap is really cool, and personally for me it's usually the rap songs, the instrumental EDM trap with the dubstep like drops it's just not for me. But some of the trap beats for people like Migos and such have great melodies, cool and melancholic, problem is most of the time they just do like an 8 bar loop that repeats over and over because that's just like, good enough for a song or whatever.

Oh, I feel you, definetely. I liked some rap stuff and usually the whole experimental Hudson Mohawke-like beats with clever drops. In fact , "kids these days" use very creative tricks.

The whole EDM/commercial stuff is not for me either. Maybe I'm just too old smile
