the name is a very very long story. three years ago i found a record in a 2nd hand shop for an house tune from the late nineties i think, demon vs heartbreaker you are my high. i bought it for 1 eur. found out later than like many house records of that era it was based on a sample, so i did my own very crappy remix of that. lately i was listening to that tune and thought i could maybe re do it better but turns out it was still going to be a mess. so i ended up doing this quick beat instead. and the title went through many iterations of demon vs heartbreaker shortened in various ways to hbk.
