Graz - Paper Hearts

By grazcore on January 16, 2026 6:34 pm

Originally set out to do an ambient track but it morphed into this early 2000s indietronica sort of track along the style of DNTEL or the Postal Service. Made on the Dirtywave M8 Model 2.

🖤

Such a sweet intro with the kid speech sample. So much binaural goodness, loving all the earcandy on my headphones. Of course it goes off into a superb production. Love the cool crunchy percussion, thick bass and the accompanyment is super chill. That jumpy chip lead is very playful. Favourited!

The atmosphere and textures on this track are lush!   Then when the main part comes in it's like a jolt to the head.  Great rhythms as well!

Ooh snap that lead is so good. Really solid bleeps and bloops here! I'm digging the hat patterns

The ambient intro is gorgeous and sets the mood so well - the rest of the track also delivers!!

The crisp highs are so good and when that massive bass kicks in I'm ready for anything. That lead has so much going on!

This is amazing!

Big fan of this... nice, precise rhythms and then the modem connects smile

nice use of stereo. a joy to listen to on headphones.

That sound clip elevates the already calm and pleasant tone of the tune. Accustomed to your harsh tone, this is a very pleasant surprise (there's some of that natural harshness of yours peeking through). Very natural flow. Love it.
