Thanks - I tried to use a transient hit and then layering it with a sub part for the main kick parts but I agree it didn't have the big kick 'hit' that I hoped. I plan to do a dj mix with the more 4/4 tracks I've done this year, so maybe I'll layer something beefy over it in Traktor's sample slots.
