Week 17 - Battery (powered) Acid

By GrainBastard on April 27, 2016 6:56 am

Bit different this week as I did most of this live - link added below smile

I made a backing track on the OP-1 to give me something to follow with the PO-12, TT-303 & Volca Sample.  After recording the take live I mixed the resulting stems in Cubase to get a WB quality track uploaded.  Thanks for listening/watching smile

Damn impressive for a live performance. Looking forward to the video.

Checked out the video: looks like you really know your equipment fore and back!

Ha ha, thanks Jim smile - honestly though I find the 'live' stuff quite difficult, hence the backing track I programmed on the OP-1. If i do very little it would still have sounded ok. I had planned on some fx tweaking on the PO-12 and the OP-1 had a riser type sound to trigger but I totally couldn't handle so many things at once!!!! smile

I'll practice more and have another go. Had a fair few views already as it got posted by MatrixSynth, which is cool as I didn't advertise it anywhere yet or mail them. Might generate some traffic over here as i put a link to WB.

Thanks for checking it out.

I just saw this posted on Matrixsynth. Cool track!

Too kind smile

When that groove kicks in about a minute in, really got my head nodding.
