The more things stay the same, the more things change, as the inverted Terrhan proverb goes. Coming from a mammalian culture known for its unwieldily complex civilizational arrangements, one might appreciate the torturous relationship with stability represented therein. Usually an allocation of imaginary resources is the catalyst for change, but this must be reconciled with a life spent on a planet that endures natural cycles of charge and discharge.\\\\\\
///After a generation of unfettered resource-charging, even a meticulously-managed pool of imaginary resources begins to show cracks in its containment meniscus. This is demonstrated in the readings we observers have appropriated from the Sai, a transterrhan macro-organism that subsists off the toil of their individualistic forebears. It is believed that the Sai are constantly patching their resource system in the interest of continued parasitism. Alas, it will not hold for much longer....
