Fourier fading.

By godinpants on March 18, 2012 10:25 am

I wrote a PD patch to do a fourier transform of two audio files.
It then gradually faded between the two, picking bins at random and shifting the gain from one file to another.
There was an element of random in the extent to which it changed the gain as well, but slowly crept from one file to another.
Threw a simple delay in there to keeps things snazzy.

An interesting experiment to say the least.  A visual would be awesome for this track.

how futurist!
