thinking about my favourite hong kong restaurant that was out the front of melbourne central and i always liked their food but now they have apparently moved to doncaster.

feel like the lead detracts from the overall vibe of the track

Wow the vibe on this is really great. Compression is excellent. Fantastic drum programming. Lead definitely adds a different mood but it's low enough in the mix that it doesn't overwhelm imo. Good work!
