Reused last week's beat, haha. smile

This one's a real rush job but it changed quite a bit from what I originally had in mind. Went heavy on the multitap delay this time, but I think it adds a bit more flavour to it. (The main melody is harder to hear with the multitap delay but still somehow sounds a little bit better IMHO. I think it needs better EQing but I couldn't quite figure out how to make it sound clearer. Not even multiband compression could clear it up...)

First of all, I'm really loving your clean phaaaaaat beats. The beat's so tight it's sick!.

To me it sounds pretty clear and not muddy at all. Anyway, for the sake of sharing production techniques, one trick I use when dealing with melodies and delays: eq the delay in the range of high MIDS and give it some reverbs if neccesary. I mean: melody on "450-900 hz" so delayed melody (all wet) on "1900-2300 hz". Maybe 3500-4000 if you're dealing with rich synths.

Hope it's useful. Would love to get drums as clean and heavy as yours smile

Nice! Still lovin that beat!
