Weekly poem
“Molting wanted”
I considered outcomes as prophetic
deserving of all the credit
choices inevitably positive outcome
and then in comes the long run
This skin I’m in needs molting
a transformative contortion
so that self proclaimed self made self
can be left up on the past path self shelf
Round and round the round about path
contorting turns to get out fast
the path and return aren’t to blame
cause the skin is one & the same
Maybe more layers
maybe more turns
maybe more speed
maybe more…
endurance and focus
repetition and strife,
wiggling writhing willpower
to molt this old life
