Lecbrk 10042021

An electro break which was only 4 bars, fleshed it out and made it into a song.

Well, I tried at least. Quick EQ, Reverb and Compression.

I made a few of these over the course of about a week in October 2021, I will eventually make them all into songs for weeklybeats 2022.

That secondary bass line is so good (0:27-> content, also appears later). Love the dropouts / stops also. Pretty groovy for an anxious, restless thing, I like this a lot. heart

Yeah for these tracks and time constraints, drop outs are the easiest way to get some variation which i overuse

this is great. lovely work! dope braindance vibezz

Nice! I should really spend my work meetings doing something more productive like this instead of browsing reddit!

I like your soft ambient on this. The chords sounds lost and sad on the fast stop and go parts, that it can't keep pace to the changes.

Gonna keep finishing these short ideas

The contrast is what makes the song ok, otherwise it would be too repetitive

I like how texturally technical it sounds. I dig it more the more I listen to it, the beat is quite hectic but feels like it's grounding the track, the bass line that comes in at 0:27 has some really nice movement as well. As for the stop and go section, taking into account that you're shaking things up to avoid repetition, the rhythm feels pretty hard to follow when trying to fit it in the straight 4/4 framework of what we were listening to prior. It seems like the section is also in 4/4 but that you might be emphasizing some 16th note subdivision when you start and stop the note flurry (I'm bad at counting so I can't tell where it falls), which can be disorienting if you're bobbing your head. I'd have to hear a slower version of the track or see it on a grid to be able to tell why it feels the way it does.

Next week's is another one of these 4 bars fleshed out into a song and It is easier to follow IMO.

great, I'd probably listen to an EP of stuff like this on repeat. this is the kind of thing I love to work or walk to.

Gonna release a mix of all WB 2022 tracks like i did for 2020. Should be a few of these in there.

tumbling into a folding digital wormhole.
I am case, you're a razorgirl.
dragging me along through things I don't understand.
So digital it starts to feel organic again.

I'm sad I only just took the time to check out a bunch of your stuff, but also very happy, I love your style. So creative, perfect balance between structure and abstraction.
