I can't tell whether that center snare is synthesized noise or a sample (or both), but I love that nice dulled sense of space. that intro is so cool too, it sounds like Nanoloop 2 this is masterful.

I like that feeling of uneasiness and resolve, returning from a long trip, raising from a low point. I'm glad it doesn't come off as intentionally "spooky"
