sitari - past/present/future

so this is a track that continues with mutating sound like I did last week, but with more of a sequenced and programmed style and less of a longform movement/experiment. it's still pretty experimental though, kinda idm I guess. the first third or so is 14/13 time, going with the year and looking back to 2013. then it changes to 13/14 time, and slows down and gets more quiet. here there are mellotrons and synths. then it goes into the weird part, which remains in same time but gets really out there, adding in some mbv-esque wah effect and some very droney coatings. I also finished up a whole album of sitari stuff this week, and this is on it: http://sitari.bandcamp.com/album/exosmotic

I really dig this. With respect though, I don't think it sounds like a complex time like 13/14, I think it's something much simpler with the option for some interesting tuplets. Great track though!

Also, it's a bit Zappa-y. big_smile

Zappa-esque eh? you made my day!

Crazy track dude even though the signature is quite straight.  Because the song certainly isn't!  haha  BENT.  <=good

excellent! yeah if this is the byproduct of a weird time sig, then whatevs! it's fun to hear! danke.

Really Interesting stuff, it definitely keeps you guessing. I like it allot

many thanks! that is really good to hear.

Love everything unless the gun like snare that could have been more subtle for my taste.
