Psychic Tune-up

Been through a lot lately, stress, working, random life stuff. It's tough to get by nowadays but easy to get scatterbrained. My goal was to remain in my creative state but to also kinda bring things together a bit more focused. it's all relative though, I was pretty out of it late saturday night (last night) when I made this but it does seem oddly focused. I just tightened it up a bit more on a subtle level, this one kind of reminded me of my SITARI project http://sitari.bandcamp.com a name I don't use anymore, but this track and last week's one will probably appear on my next electronic music album.

I feel like this track could also be used with vocals over it... or just remain an instrumental track, I can't decide and don't have lyrics for this or anything, so it'll probably remain as is.

this consists of two beats i downloaded for free from cymatics slayer pack, and three passes of hydrasynth performance, I think only 1 maybe 2 midi channels as well, so there's a lot going on under the hood. I tried to make it as palatable as possible though, through volume envelopes and mixing and plugins.

my only goal was the same as last week, make another short track because i have been making epic sonic voyages most weeks, just want to produce something different and more concise lately.

Blasts in with a witch house vibe, over-compressed bass sidechaining and trap highs.  Organically mechanical industrial beakbeats and kettle boiling synthesizers decorate a post-apocolyptic wasteland soundscape.  Superb.

I like the sounddesign of your beats. Lot of weird noises on the way, too. Well done.

thank you on the sound design on the beats comment:) I did focus on that for a night. The sound of the beat was mostly done in an 8 but mangling plugin which I got to sound more like a strange overdrive or light but crackly distortion. I was certainly in a late night zone when I finished this one up! Lots of swirling sounds and whatnot

This is very immersive, I like how much is going on in its soundscape. Quite nice!

Yes immersive, and engaging to hear all that's going on, like going down a path with many new things arising. I think it tuned me up!
