ma cherie amour, je vous souhaite le meilleur

this started out as wanting to use my thumb piano in a piece, with a contact mic. then I added in some korg wavedrum and began multitracking. decided to add some vocal melodies too, but since I did not have any mic cords at home, I had to use the contact mic and a cupped hand for that (2 tracks of this). I then added a lot of vst filters and mastered the whole thing as a real time multitracked improv experiment. since it was less than 2 minutes, I didn't feel that satisfied so I went into each individual track and made loops of parts, resulting in nearly 60 loops of drums and thumb piano, as well as a few vocal loops (I don't do vocals much and in a non-metal context, I feel a little self conscious about it, but I guess it sounded ok, I was scatting or something heh). the track ended up reminding me a bit of what if autechre produced a later day boredoms track with a one day deadline.
