this is the debut of my new Radi0active Beats series, part 1 excerpt from the new EP created this week:

made an off the cuff beat with the arturia drumbrute, used something called the field kit (radio equipped modular synth with ways to randomly change the signal or even use shortwave), and the hydrasynth explorer + various mastering and filtering vst plugins. i ran some of the drumbrute's channels through the field kit and transformed those outputs with the radiowave receptions and convoluted it with envelopes and just went a little mad scientist with it. I actually made a whole EP using these sessions and it turned out quite well, i'm really happy with it. reminds me of meat beat manifesto with merzbow's new release but more like autechre. i spent a lot of time with sound design and such with this one. link to ep in the comments...

Crackling beats.  Some good soundscape exploration to keep in touch with insane parts of us.

Slow motion air ripping bit crush. Very nice

Very cool development in this track. Love where it ends up. Great reading the description too.

thank you! yes the rhythm of this polybeat was driving me crazy in the best way! reminds me of this beat that is on Autechre 'LP5' but i didn't intentionally try to make it like that, it just turned out that way. totally infectious! almost funky

thank you so much for checking it out, I wish I had more time to write about the process and every little detail but i try to include as much of "what it is" as possible from a technical standpoint as well as any other creative conceptual stuff i can throw in too, i love writing.
