dice game 3 electrocacoustical psychedelic nightmare

By george bowles on February 15, 2026 4:30 am

the dice game is where i have 20 instruments and 20 pedals rolled up with 20 sided dice (or as the list gets smaller, 12 sided dice etc). this week rolled up a box harp, arturia db impact drum machine, gibson nighthawk guitar, and a contact mic. surfaces for the contact mic included glass, an old cookie tin with a few crumbs, fabric, my skin, and whatever else was near my recording setup. the pedals that were included by the dice: bleak district electric antistatic fuzz pedal (wonderfully blasted fuzz pedal with micro looper), Analogy analog delay, fish and chips eq by danelectro, and the Pod GO guitar multi fx pedal. there were 7 channels of audio recorded, no virtual instruments, all performance. i got a little more tipsy than usual when i made this one.

it's definitely a trip. lots of electroacoustic textures (but through pedals), detached acid guitars, severely damaged fuzz sounds, experimental af. it sounds like i did some serious psychedelics when i made this but I was just drunk and very stoned.

incredible o_o

This is super trippy, some really cool textures in there
