bathroom

back to a project I started a while ago now (remember kitchen?)... I have transformed samples recorded in a bathroom (mainly a washing machine and a toilet, never got around to recording the shower or sink) in some kind of nightmare realm with vipers and an underground cavern or something. starting to see the appeal of doing sound design for movies I guess... there's a wealth of timbres at your fingertips, or to be heard all around you is more accurate. using those sounds to create something all your own is pretty rewarding. in the last piece of this type I made, it was more about chopping into interesting rhythms. as these were more static for the most part, I stretched them out and tried to create an interesting spatial quality that could transport the imagination. since it's october, it is only fitting that imaginary space is horrifying.
