By george bowles on May 22, 2016 4:32 am

working on a new album with my Ampyre project, a collaboration between mimi wallman on live looped vocals and myself on guitar and other instruments. we have had a couple shows now and have a couple of releases at our bandcamp: http://ampyre.bandcamp.com check 'em out! we have a couple of live shows coming up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNXnyubgKDQ is a live video. this was just recorded last sunday and i have been producing 3 tracks from the session... this is the wrap up track at the end of the session. really like how it turned out, pretty weird too.

Intense! I'll check out the other URLs.

I appreciate any spreading of the word on this, people have been very responsive to this stuff! live it is a bit more theatrical as mimi does some cool random performance elements that involve butoh training. one of my main projects lately.

I like the sound of this project.  The recording is more hifi sounding too than usual?  The vocals work well with the noise.

yeah, this is more hifi than i usually do because it isn't all mics like a lot of my stuff is... got some direct from board into recording device sounds. yeah mimi's voice is amazing too that helps quite a bit!

I also went on a butoh vid binge yesterday as I hadn't heard of it before.  I really dig the traditional form.

Realy interesting Work!
