Echoes of Tomorrow's Transience

By geopet on January 18, 2026 6:42 pm

This song was composed on the Dirtywave M8 with the use of some effects through multitracking into Ableton and mastering through Ableton. Everything but the drums are custom synths produced through the M8's synth engines.

This was actually a two day exercise. The first was coming up with the drum feeling, using the new groove options due to the changes in PPQN in the 6.5 update. That was fun for me. I'm not very groovy, so getting to play with grooves was a nice change of pace.

I had a melody that I was playing with when I was getting the rhythm down right, but I changed it all up when I dove into it the next day. I kind of fell in love with the softer parts of the song, but they wouldn't stand out without the harder parts to the composition. But that's kind of where the title comes from.

Thanks so much for giving this a listen. I appreciate it.

I really love the atmosphere you created on this track. The soft reverb-y synths are wonderful.

Yeah, I like the layers of different synths.

Nice vibes.

Wow, yes great energy to this one.
