I was getting an enjoyably 80s vibe from this as well--total John Hughes teen-movie montage sequence music!  (I'm imagining the school dance finally going well after a lot of drama!)

Thank you! I was racking my brain for a title. I had a few keywords like heart, crush, summer, etc. Went with Cream Soda cause it was sweet and I usually get the Crush brand so hehehehe

Thank you Jim! I almost did away with the intro too, out of frustration. It played too fast to my ears if I kept it the same tempo as the rest, and the rest was too slow if I brought it down for the intro to work. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize I could do a tempo change whenever I wanted and that took care of that
